After several years in development Knud Pedersen, the founder of A/S Maskinfabrikken Rival, has been successful in manufacturing an adjustable calibrating sleeve for plastic pipe extrusion lines. The RIVAL® adjustable calibrating sleeve can be operated either manually or electronically. The set diameter can be easily read from a display close to the adjustment handle. Since 1998 we have worked hard on selling this product to a range of customers world-wide.

The RIVAL adjustable calibrating sleeve enable pipe manufacturers to adjust the calibration during production and thereby making it possible to produce pipes in the most economical way, as fast as possible and of course in the absolute best possible quality.

The schematic diagram shows the patented, simple, sturdy design and illustrates how the diameter can be changed during operation without having to make any compromises with the requirements of the pipe manufacturer in terms of pipe roundness, surface and tolerance.

The principle as such ensures stable, accurate calibration along the entire calibrating sleeve.
