History

In 1999 ECON was founded by a team of specialists in plastics machinery for the invention, development, assembly and marketing of new technologies for screen-changers (plastic melt-filters) and underwater pelletizers.

2001 - Patent awarded for screen changer with automatic backflush unit
2002 - First delivery of an ECON underwater pelletizing system for PET
2004 - Patent application for an automatic venting system for screen changers
2005 - Trademark for the developed high wear resistant CECONID® plate
2007 - ECON receives the Upper Austria innovation award
2008 - ECON gets the Austrian state's innovation award ECONOVIUS within the category SME
today - ECON offers the leading technology in underwater pelletizing
